An independent, source-backed guide to guest shifts, takeovers, tastings and bar nights across Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan and Guangdong.
How are events sourced?
Enabled original sources are crawled and checked. Published facts must come from an original hosting bar, hotel, organizer, official guest bar or clearly participating bartender account. Competitor calendars are not evidence.
What do review labels mean?
Unreviewed means the event passed automated source and data checks, but a human has not finished the optional final review. It does not turn unsupported information into fact.
What do the timestamps mean?
Visible last-checked and last-updated times reflect when underlying source-backed facts were most recently verified or changed. They are not predictions of future line-ups.
Independent guide
Asia Bar Hopping is not officially affiliated with the bars, hotels, awards or event organizers it covers. The guide does not claim exhaustive coverage or paid partnership.
Original-source crawling and credit
Enabled first-party profiles are crawled and checked. Published event facts must be supported by an original hosting bar, hotel, organizer, official guest bar or clearly participating bartender account, and those sources stay credited on public pages. Competitor calendars are not publication evidence.
Review labels
Automated imports may appear with an unreviewed label after source and data checks. That label means a human has not completed the optional final review; it does not turn unsupported information into fact.
Poster policy
A poster is shown only when the artwork clearly belongs to one event. Multi-event or ambiguous artwork stays hidden and the event uses a poster-pending card.
Corrections and submissions
Dates and line-ups can change. Confirm final details with the organizer. Use the site’s submission form or contact page to send missing events or corrections for review.
Update timestamps
Market, district, venue, event and weekly-guide pages show last-checked or last-updated times derived from the newest underlying source-backed change. Timestamps describe verification state, not ranking or endorsement.
